WorkMesh

Built by the people who needed it

Better than a spreadsheet. More flexible than a traditional enterprise system.

For more than 20 years working in project and risk environments, I kept running into the same problem. A spreadsheet or register would work well until the process needed controlled access, workflow, actions, evidence, approvals, audit history and management visibility.

The alternatives were often powerful, but rigid, expensive to change or much larger than the problem we were trying to solve.

WorkMesh grew from wanting something in between: keep the flexibility people value, add the control the business needs, and make sure the system helps people get the work done rather than making the process harder.

WorkMesh is in controlled testing. Early customers work directly with the product team.

Start with the problem in front of you

Project or enterprise, the same practical building blocks keep appearing.

A project risk register, a safety investigation, a corporate obligations register and an environmental workflow look different on the surface. Underneath, they need clear ownership, appropriate access, evidence, follow-up and management visibility. WorkMesh is built around those common building blocks.

01

Projects

Make project registers do more than record the issue.

Turn risk, safety, interface, dependency and environmental registers into working systems without forcing the project into a heavyweight platform.

  • Project risk and opportunity
  • Safety registers and investigations
  • Interfaces and dependencies
  • Environmental controls and obligations

Enterprise

Turn governance requirements into work that actually gets done.

Connect governance, risk, compliance, safety and environmental processes to accountable owners, evidence, escalation and management visibility.

Built around the way the work really happens

A system should help people get the work done — not make the process harder.

WorkMesh is being built by people who have had to use the spreadsheets, registers and enterprise systems behind real project and business processes. The aim is to keep the flexibility people need, add the control they are missing, and connect each important record to the right action, evidence and outcome.

01Built by people who use systems like this

Design starts with practical problems: duplicated administration, disconnected actions, poor visibility and workflows that are difficult to change.

02Focused on what happens next

A risk, issue, obligation or investigation should connect to an owner, due date, reminder, escalation, evidence and eventual closure.

03Private where it needs to be

Some information benefits from broad visibility; other work needs restricted teams, controlled records and tightly governed access.

04Flexible around your process

Start with the way the team already works, then add structure, workflow and controls around it rather than forcing a fixed template.

Flexible access

One platform can support open collaboration and tightly restricted work.

A project risk register may need wide visibility. A sensitive investigation may need a small specialist team. WorkMesh is designed so access can reflect the process, instead of making every process fit one security model.

Actions are the thread

The register is not the end of the process.

WorkMesh is designed around the work created by a record: who owns it, when it is due, what evidence is required and when somebody else needs to know.

One action area

Work from different Systems can come back to one place so users can focus on what needs attention.

Exceptions first

Dashboards and reporting surface overdue work, exposure and records that need intervention.

Digests and escalation

Routine reminders reduce manual chasing while important or overdue work can be escalated.

Evidence with context

Files, decisions and history remain connected to the record and workflow that created them.

Use it where the work happens

Mobile should reduce tomorrow's administration.

WorkMesh mobile apps are being built for Apple and Android so people can respond to actions, review Systems and capture evidence while the work is happening.

Push notifications

New work can reach the responsible person instead of relying on somebody checking a register.

Capture evidence

Photos and files can be added while the user is in the field and still retain the record context.

Complete workflow steps

Progress actions and submit updates without recreating field work later at a desk.

Consistent authority

Mobile experiences preserve the same underlying Business and System security model.

Security and trust

Control should be part of the design, not a marketing claim.

WorkMesh does not claim certifications it has not earned. The platform is being engineered around practical controls including MFA and recovery, Business-scoped authority, tenant separation, server-side permissions, protected API credentials, audit history and controlled secret handling.

Identity and MFA

Authentication, MFA and account recovery are treated as separate controls rather than a password-only fallback.

Business isolation

Business access and data authority are enforced by the application with database-per-Business tenancy retained as a core constraint.

Least access required

Restricted information is protected by the authority model rather than simply hidden in the interface.

Controlled integrations

External API connections are Business-owned, scoped to approved Systems and use protected credentials with usage controls.

One connected foundation

Start small without designing yourself into another dead end.

WorkMesh combines a shared application foundation with configurable Systems and additional application areas, so solving one process does not require rebuilding access, actions and reporting when the next problem arrives.

What process is harder than it should be?

Bring us the problem, not a software specification.

Show us the spreadsheet, register or workflow that has outgrown the way it is being managed. We can work through whether WorkMesh can make it more controlled without taking away the flexibility that made it useful in the first place.
